The Challenge
A shipment of standees from another supplier had arrived damaged.
The original factory refused to take the stock back or provide replacements.
The customer was now facing a significant potential write-off — with no practical solution from the supplier who had manufactured the product.
They needed someone who could help recover whatever value was still possible.
What We Did
The damaged products weren't ours. The customer wasn't ours either.
But they needed help.
So we took up the repair work as a service gesture.
Our team examined the damaged standees, assessed what could be recovered, and worked on repairing the units that were still salvageable.
Around 70% of the damaged units were successfully repaired.
The Result
A shipment that could have become a complete write-off was turned back into usable stock.
The customer didn't have to immediately purchase replacements.
They didn't have to depend on the original supplier to solve the problem.
And they got something that isn't always part of a purchase order:
Someone who was willing to help when they didn't have to.
What This Project Really Shows
Business relationships aren't tested only when everything goes right.
Sometimes they're built when something goes wrong.
For us, this wasn't about repairing a competitor's product.
It was about helping a business recover from a problem.
Because care shouldn't begin only after you receive an order.
